While most people may think that FAQ stands for Frequently Asked Questions, others might argue that it stands for F’in’ Answers Quick. FAQ’s are random questions along with random answers to give you a smoother, more pleasant shopping and buying experience. If it’s easy for you to navigate through this site by getting quick answers to your burning questions about MYMCC, we will all sleep better at night… but don’t forget to blow out your candles before bed.

Absolutely! Size matters when it comes to candle enjoyment. If you are putting a MYMCC candle in a very small room, like a bathroom, you can get away with a small candle, like a couple of the 2oz samplers that we offer. But, just like the name implies, they are “sampler’s” people, and they won’t last for long and you’ll need to buy more like tomorrow. If you want your candles to smell up a bedroom, kitchen or slightly larger space, we recommend the 8.5oz size. If you have an open floor plan, high ceilings or live in a cool open loft, we strongly recommend lighting at least 2 or 3 8.5oz candles at the same time. We encourage you to mix and match your scents for your own custom-smelling space. However, for an even better smelling experience and for wide, open spaces (indoors only, of course), we recommend that you purchase a few 3-wick, 17 oz candles. Now we’re talking Big Wick Energy!

First of all, this is not a dumb question. This is a great question! Trimming the wick of your candle to right around ¼” before each burn is practically mandatory. If we could auto-trim them for you, we would. But we can’t. Here’s are several reasons why you should trim your wicks between each burn: It gives you a smaller, much safer flame; the wax will melt slower and your candles will last longer; a freshly cut wick emits a stronger, fresher, more pure scent; there will be much less soot; and… because we said so. If you learn one thing from this stupid FAQ page it should be to trim your damn wicks!

MYMCC sells a handy dandy little device called a Wick Trimmer. It’s cool because it can reach down into the candle vessel and trim your wicks with no fuss, no muss. It even holds the sooty, trimmed pieces of wick in a tiny plate on the end of the wick trimmer so you can take it right over to the nearest trash receptacle and dispose of it. However, if you don’t want to invest $8 for your very own Wick Trimmer, please use scissors or your fingers… just trim your wicks, for God's sake!

Stop, drop and roll. Then call 911 if medical attention is needed. (It was probably because you didn’t trim your wick… or maybe you just need a haircut)

That list contains a wide range of naturally occurring and synthetic chemicals that are known to cause cancer or birth defects or other reproductive harm. These chemicals include additives or ingredients in pesticides, common in household products, food, drugs, dyes or solvents. Yuck! Our products also avoid Carcinogens, Mutagens, Reproductive toxins, Organ toxins and Acute toxins. Not all candle companies can make that claim or promise. Crazy, huh? Next, we use all-natural 100% US-grown soybeans for our wax. Soy wax is less sooty and has a cleaner burn than Paraffin wax or some of the other wax options. We also make custom blends and scents that you won’t smell anywhere else. Although we understand that we can’t please every nose every time, we try to give you a variety of unique scents to Meet Your Match.
