Whoooo Are We? Whoo-who, whoo-who? MeetYourMatchCandleCompany (AKA: MYMCC) is a small-batch, hand-poured candle company that focuses on making sophisticated scents while using eco-friendly materials. We use 100% soy wax that's produced from U.S. soybeans. MYMCC only uses fragrance oils that are phthalate-free and contain no carcinogens, mutagens or reproductive toxins. Our candle wicks are constructed from all-natural, ring-spun cotton. They contain no zinc, lead or any other metals. We also like to use recyclable and reused packing and shipping materials. This helps keeps our shipping costs down as well as helps save the world, one packing peanut at a time! If you're breathing a sigh of relief after reading about how environmentally friendly we are, wait 'till you breathe in our candles!!

The Spark: MYMCC unofficially started around April of 2020, when the world changed and we were suddenly quarantined in our homes. If we were to spend day after day after day in our respective 'bubbles', shouldn't we at least enjoy the smell of them? Shouldn't we at least make our homes smell soothing & calm, or tropical & beachy? What if our homes could smell like clean laundry or a high-end spa or a five-star resort? A girl can dream while she's in quarantine, right? Plus, the dancing flicker of a candle's flame is hypnotic and tranquil all in itself. So, it seemed apparent that it was time to open up my nostrils, turn down the lights and R-E-L-A-X… aaaahhhh…

(queue the record scratch!!!) As days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months, the wax melted and the often crappy smelling, sooty, inferior candles I had previously purchased were dwindling quickly. I needed to figure out how to make better smelling, better burning, beautifully scented candles on my own. So I did! And MeetYourMatchCandleCompany was born.
